Who we are

Jolly Heating & Cooling is a trade name of 447870 BC Ltd, operating from 8400 No. 4 Road, Richmond, BC V6Y 2T6. This policy explains what personal information we collect through jollyheating.com, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

What we collect

When you submit a quote request through our website, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, phone number, the city you live in, what service you are interested in, and anything you choose to tell us about your project. We also record how you heard about us if you tell us.

We do not ask for and do not want payment card details, banking information, or government identification through this website.

Why we collect it

To respond to your enquiry, arrange a free in-home assessment, prepare a quote, and carry out work you hire us to do. If you become a customer, we also use it to schedule installation, arrange annual maintenance, and administer your labour warranty.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing purposes.

Who we share it with

We use third-party services to run our business, and some of them process your information on our behalf:

• GoHighLevel, which powers the quote request form on this website and our customer records
• Microsoft 365, which hosts our email
• Google Analytics, which tells us how people find and use the website
• Meta, if you arrived from a Facebook or Instagram advertisement

Some of these providers store data outside Canada, including in the United States. That means your information may be subject to the laws of the country where it is stored.

We also share information with rebate programme administrators when you ask us to help with a rebate application.

We share what's necessary with the tradespeople who carry out your installation — for example your address and phone number so they can reach you and attend site.

Cookies and analytics

This website uses cookies to understand how visitors use it — which pages they read, how they arrived, and whether the site is working properly. This is aggregate information about traffic patterns, not an attempt to identify you personally.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. The website will still work.

How long we keep it

If you enquire and do not become a customer, we keep your enquiry so we can follow up and so we know we have spoken before. If you become a customer, we keep your records for as long as your labour warranty is active, plus the period required by tax and business records law, since we may need to demonstrate what was installed and when.

You can ask us to delete your information at any time, subject to any records we are legally required to keep.

Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law, including PIPEDA and British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act, you have the right to:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct anything that is wrong
• Ask us to delete your information
• Withdraw your consent to us contacting you

Keeping it secure

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including using established providers with their own security practices and limiting access to the people who need it to do their jobs. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you promptly if something goes wrong that affects your information.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted here rather than made quietly.
